Beautiful. That was my biggest gripe with the game on release. Why give us magic then make it more dangerous to use than it was worth. I can’t believe it didn’t get picked up at the QA level as well.

Glad to see you hit your deadline Ash, I was worried that you’d lose momentum during “The Corridor” and not catch back up.
I think much of the complaint is that “looks fine” and “plays fine” are very subjective things for different people. I was playing on PS5 in release week (put it aside to wait for patches and play other games) and felt that it looked pretty good and played “well” by my measure, except it crashed after maybe 30 minutes…
I really enjoy the photo aspect of the game to have gone through at the end and seen my journey. Also picked out a few banging wallpapers from there, I need to find it out but Prompto got one of Ignis where he was sillhouetted mid attack by some kind of enemy light that gave him a a red coloured vectorlike look while…
Yeah they’re all good. As long as it has that telltale melody it’s a good song.
Is this what we’re going to do today? Fight over what the best Chocobo theme is?
Fair enough mate, if you don’t care to know the story I’m proposing a fix for a problem you don’t have.
The story is all there, it’s just not shoved in your face. The way to get it spelled out to the players who are more about blazing through as quick as possible on levels and aren’t going to take the time to go hunting, but still want the story would be something like adding in at the start of each story mission a fact…
I’m currently playing H1 and 2 and will say that the generic list of villains do just seem to pass you by when you listen to the briefings, but there are tons of links about them in the larger narrative hidden in the levels. There was one mission where I checked some kind of schedule on a whiteboard and spotted the…
I’m down with that.
I was legit considering picking up Maneater the other day for a bit of a laugh. This will save me a tenner, noice.
Piggybacking off Womabt’s comment, Patches also has a habit of pushing you into holes and pits to trap you when he’s screwing you over. It’s kind of his thing. A chimney basically being the hole in this instance.
Mystery? Did I not watch Sony do their own teardown before release day?
You know, I don’t know what opinion I “should” have here, or if I even would be entitled to one.
The answer to crunchtime alleviation is no. If anything it’s a baked in excuse to push for more crunch as home workers can be “on the clock” 24/7 effectively. Their means of working is always there and unscrupulous managers and ridiculous higher up demands will likely lean on that fact.
No worries, I think we’re both from the UK based on how I’ve read it anyway.
In the UK? They’ve done well then because they act and taste the same. I know they went BOP style for grill side across the country as well not long after I left which likely ties in to it.
I did 8 years hard time at McDs a decade ago so can say that the meat they use in their beef burgers is all the same, it’s just formed differently between the 10:1, 4:1 and 3:1 burgers (3:1 being that you get on the bigger promo burgers).
Possibly but you can definitely taste the very specific almost artificial (maybe actually) BK style of meat when getting one. They’re the same up and down the country and I normally get a BK whenever I go on a motorway trip so have had them from London to Edinburgh.
Is it the business world or is it what the media does with any slight bit of information? Can’t leave a sliver of “hope” in your statements because if you don’t “deliver” on this vague possibility someone will create a narrative about it.
