It definitely works as a multi-rotor. Transitioning to forward flight is always the hardest part though. People have been working on it for years. RC Hobbyists have been making progress but it is hard to eliminate basic flight requirements

If this were a true flying wing I might agree. This is not. It has a tiny wing in the back, a retractable canard lift thingy, and a huge fat body sticking out in front.

I know all about the X-36. It is designed as am intentionally unstable aircraft that is held in check by very powerful flight computers.

Forward flight with a plane like this requires a tail. The B-2 is an unstable plane that requires computer control to keep it in the air... and they still crash.

That will never fly. There is no Vertical Tail Surface! As a guy that design RC Aircraft, I promise you that this is going nowhere. These people have no clue what they are doing.

There are a couple communications satellite companies that have already signed on for the discounted launch. They insure their stuff anyways.
