Not true. There are many highly efficient plane designs out there that fly at 150-200 mph on 4-6 gph. For those of you not great at math, that is up to between 30-50 MPG. On top of that, a plane can fly straight to your destination. Particularly important when the route is through mountains. Where you can go miles out…
