Well, this is triggering. I'm going to try to pretend high school never happened.
What really got me was "I need to be strong for the kids that I did this for and people I did this for." She's so young! No teenager should have to feel that kind of pressure on top of everything else.
She is 100% braver than any of the assclown jackholes who crawled out from under a pile of old underwear to post something anonymous and hateful. Fuck them in the face with a hatchet, sister.
Back in 1977 the term "a more wretched hive of scum and villainy" was referring to a desert spaceport on a planet in a galaxy far far away.
Now in 2013 the same phrase should be used about YouTube comments.
I think Kinja ate my earlier response, but basically, that's backwards. False positives are rare. A pregnancy test detects the presence of a hormone. If it's there, it's there. Unless you recently had a miscarriage or are on fertility drugs, the positive likely indicates pregnancy.
There are THREE YEARS until the next election. Can we not have some peace?! Please. I beg of you. The constant election cycle is basically awful.
2008 was absurd to the point of parody. 2012 was simply insane. I'm fairly sure that no matter how bad I imagine 2016 will be, it's going to be worse.
Runner here, who usually "can take a joke" but I hate this too. It's the men pursuing the women part that I personally find the most squicky. Also, it's impractical - most races have staggered starts, that you either are assigned to based on demographics (particularly those involving kids) or select yourself based on…
I feel like 'sex jihad' is a fancy word for rape. Because that's what it certainly sounds like to me. Obviously there are a lot of cultural elements at play here but still I'd say that rape is rape, no matter what it's titled.
Drinking while pregnant =/= exercising while pregnant.
Which is why it's important that we just mind our own business and defer to the pregnant lady and her doctor.
Humans couldn't have made it as far as we have, as a species, if a little bit of physical exertion could harm a developing fetus. That is fucking ABSURD. All they have to do is look at women in the developing world who don't have the luxury of lying around all day, driving cars instead of walking miles each day, or…
Even if she overdid it with a routine her pregnant body couldn't handle, she'd almost certainly only hurt HERSELF, not the baby. You have to be careful during pg because the Relaxin that lets your ligaments adjust and shift for your growing uterus makes your ligaments all wonky and much easier to injure.
No matter what women do during pregnancy there'd be someone there to tell her that she's doing it wrong. At least she's getting it for doing something that's good for her.
I am 39 weeks pregnant and I have continued my normal fitness routine, including Body Pump classes 2x a week. I listen to my body and stop and/or lower weights when necessary. Pregnancy is not illness!! People love to concern troll me too, but in the end I haven't gained too much weight, my baby is huge and healthy,…
When pregnant people gorge themselves, people condone that it's "OK to give in to cravings" and "eat for two." (I totally condoned it in my own pregnancy, for the record...heh.) But when someone does something like this, the internet turns into Dr. McJudgerson, OBGYN.
