Who’s the loudest sneezer you know and why is it your dad?
I use Ally and I think it covers things pretty well.
I really don’t understand people who complain about shit like this. Try a different gun, try a different strategy. Games like this are about adapting, imo. I picked it back up after the pacific maps dropped and I’ve been loving it.
Agree. I used to have one of those fan controllers for the OG xbox. It was my favorite.
I was at the gym recently and a woman was stretching/looking at her phone for 10+ minutes in the middle of the cable machines where someone would do cable flyes, beneath a set of pullup bar handle bits. It’s like directly in the middle of the room and gets a ton of use.
Absolutely this. For when I know there’s a very specific word I want, but can only think of words that are close. Sometimes the word just doesn’t exist... but hey.
I did this, I’m pretty sure I just opened a support chat and they did it all for me from there. It was definitely a little funky, but I kept my same account. Just save the chats, keep an eye on your bank charges, and complain at them if they fuck it up (they readily give away free months of prime, refunds, etc. when…
The specialty cleaning solutions have always seemed unnecessary. Even with my bong (unreachable nooks, complex percolator) hot water does most of the work. Then 90% isopropyl cleans up. What helps more than anything is to get the piece as hot as possible (without shocking the glass, of course) right before you add the…
I’ve had all sorts of ulnar nerve (cubital tunnel) issues in both arms. Numbness down to my pinkies/ring fingers pretty frequently. I can feel the taut nerve go from my fingers to my neck, eek. Figured I’d ask here if anyone has any good advice!
One time I went to get a physical for club sports in college. The bill would’ve be $100. They told me if I turned it into an annual checkup with bloodwork it would be covered by my insurance. Great. Oh yeah, except for the $250 lab fee for the bloodwork I didn’t need that I got mailed 6 months later (already past due,…
Honestly, this is a lifehack and I plan to try it.
Los Angeles. Public transit should be free! The Olympics are going to be a huge waste of money. Parking tickets are $75. The country clubs pay almost nothing in property taxes. It goes on and on.
All I really want is for dry ciders to be more common. The Golden State brut/unfiltered cider is so so good. Only ever seen it in a store. Tastes like a solid champagne almost. Sweet cider is just such a waste of apples and drunkenness.
I hope so! Goses popping up at places all over LA.
I’ve only recently started using it, but the Los Angeles public library system is great. The aforementioned Kanopy access was the first thing I started using, but I more recently realized I should be using the library to scratch my fiction itch! Super obvious, I know, but after college it’s taken a while to realize…
Amazed that “drugs” isn’t on the list!
So I’m in my 20s and have played shooters my whole life, with no great violence-genic effect. But I think it’s very important to couple children’s exposure to (especially military-themed) violence with some solid education on the reality of war/military violence. I loved MW2 more than anything when it came out, but to…
Seriously just give people on bikes some fucking space. I remember one of my uncles told me he was going to attach spikes to his hubcaps when Colorado passed a law saying you had to give cyclists either three or six (can’t remember) feet of space when you pass them.
Alternatively, I’ve never cooked instant ramen in a pot at all. I’ve always used, basically, the cup noodles technique: boil the water (usually in a kettle), put the uncooked noodles + the seasoning into a bowl, pour the boiling water into the bowl, cover with aluminum foil and let the steam do a little extra work on…
