This movie is going to be bananas.

That is exactly what I am thinking. We should take snapshots of their “regular” economy fares as they call it now so we can really compare when this new “basic” economy kicks in. But I got the feeling that “regular” it’s going up and “basic” it’s taking it’s place, at least at half the price up/down respectively.

Pretty much. Maybe it will go down $10 to not make liars of them, but then the ticket that allows overhead storahe goes up $20.

It’ll be most interesting to see if there’s a bump in the current economy fares that’s out of step with inflation/other airlines/phases of the moon/whatever airlines use to set rates.

They will probably just raise the price of the normal economy ticket and charge the economy prices on the basic fare now.

Yea. My guess is that the cost of the cheapest ticket will remain the same and the cost of all of the others will be increased.

Yes. And I think (although I can’t find information to back it up) that it got really good ratings the second time around because it picked up the reputation of Best Miniseries Ever.
