The 8-Bit Era was the Stone Age. Primitive JRPGs with excuse plots, but still laid the groundwork for the genre we know and love today.

I play through any game I paid $5 or more for. The remainder of my Pile of Shame consists of about 100 games that collectively cost me around $60. I've been satisfied getting 15 hours out of a $60 console game, so I figure if I ever end up getting to play those games for at least fifteen hours combined, I'm good.
