What the fuck is that? Snagglepuss?

I guess it's a tricky situation. I would have assumed that she would be okay with it, seeing as how she's already in Girls Gone Wild videos and fucking the guy who makes them.

Oh, ok. You keep on with that.

I hope you don't have any dreams of being a lawyer, holy shit. Because you would lose every case. Horribly.

OK, so you made a statement to no one in particular about a perceived non existent threat of government censorship. Got it.

So you are discussing hypothetical "big picture implications" on the hypothetical "censorship on comedy". Because no one is censoring it currently. FCC isn't. I don't see Obama doing it.

You said you can't FORCE people to not make those jokes. Norton's whole point was that the weapon people use to censor is by boycotting the advertisers. So aside from that, how are people forcing comedians not to make those jokes? By not watching their shows? By not liking them?

My point is that you are arguing against a point that no one (or if someone did, it's buried deep in there to the point where no one even cares about it) made. You are making your argument first, then creating the imaginary counterpoint to use it against.

You mean when you copy pasted the same paragraph?

Because slippery slope is the exact same argument that was used.

If that was said in the million comments here, I don't think it was the focus of this thread. I can't find it in the last 30 comments, but you keep focusing on it.

Who is censoring anything? Did Tosh get his show cancelled even?

No one is saying that? Because no one has that power? Which is obvious because it keeps happening where someone says that shit? Like right now?

Yeah, slippery slope sure does happen. One minute black people are allowed to pee in whatever bathroom they want, next thing you know, they're allowed to marry our women!

So what? No one is silencing them. Nothing is off limits. Obviously, because people keep doing it.

Ah okay, fair enough

The fucked up part is that statistically speaking, it's more like 25 of those men are rapists.

I'm not sure you got that episode. The whole point was that white people will never be able to understand what hearing nigger as a black person feels like, and therefore all those attempts to show understanding and solidarity are useless. It also points out that the focus quickly shifts to the defense/pity party of

You specifically said comedians shouldn't be barred from telling any joke. They aren't. If they were, we wouldn't be having this discussion. I'm not sure what your point is, because it is taking place in a hypothetical world where comedians don't make unfunny offensive jokes all the time because they are some how
