As far as brush cleaning goes, I’ve been using Sephora’s bar soap. It has this rubber scrubbing pad thingie that’s really good for swishing your brush to make sure it really gets in there. Great for Beauty Blenders too.
Thank you ^_^
Haha, right?! People always underestimate how much makeup is actually used for those “natural” looks.
That seems like a waste of perfectly good drinking vodka lol. I guess I could buy a small bottle of the cheap stuff. Make me feel like I'm in college again haha.
I love those acrylic organizers but I just don’t have the counter space :(
Yeah, Birchbox is really great for trying out new stuff. A couple boxes have been fails, but I’ve been pretty happy overall. Hope you can make it back out to civilization soon!
My usual order is moisturizer, primer (bc my face is an oil slick), and tinted oil-free moisturizer. I double up on moisturizer bc I honestly don’t feel like the tinted one really moisturizes that well, but I really love the light coverage and easy application for my day-to-day routine.
Yeah, I’ve been wanting to try some of their shampoos, but that conditioner packaging is such a terrible idea. Like not convenient or useful at all. Plus I feel like I would end up getting loads of water in there while I shower and then it would just be useless, right?
Oy. I’m so sorry for your loss :( I love the website for re-upping on my HGs (plus all the free goodies you can get), but there’s nothing quite like going into the store to test things out. Plus the samples. THE SAMPLES!
Oooh! Thanks for the suggestion! I’ve been looking for makeup organizers at Ulta and Sephora but I can’t seem to find the right size and number of drawers/slots. Plus they’re also so fug and overpriced. I guess a toolbox from Home Depot or something would be another good alternative, ya?
This stresses me out too, but I do the same thing with with my daily-routine products :\
I don’t know about other stores, but with Sephora YES! They have a pretty amazing return policy. You could use a good chunk of a product and still be able to return it. They’re also very generous with giving out samples too, as along it’s something that can be put in one of their little sample dishes (i.e., liquid or…
You spray the brush before adding the foundation? Have to try this.
I like the coverage with my Beauty Blender, but ugh the maintenance. I hate the extra minutes I have to spend washing it right away. Also I recently read that storing it out in the open in the bathroom like I do is apparently a breeding ground for bacteria :\
According to that NYT article, her day-to-day routine is pretty low key. She said that heavy makeup is usually from photoshoots and events and that she always takes pics when she has her makeup done and posts them on IG.
My dermatologist recently recommend the PRP facial (aka “vampire” facial) in combination with fractional laser to fix some sun damage and acne scarring that I have going on. I told her I’d consider it bc I wanted to do my research first, and from what I’ve seen, it does work. I’m pretty sold the results, but still put…
I don’t think Kylie is even partially Armenian. It’s Kim, Khole, and Kourtney’s dad whose Armenian.
Damn. Feeling super fucking blessed to be in an area where most hospitals are not religiously affiliated (I think). I need to go do some Googling now.
Amen!
