It has a pretty large fanbase for something that is like... mainstream-adjacent. The kinda series where you’d recognize the name and one or two characters but primarily because its been crossed over with a lot of things and has been around a while.

Odds are they won’t release a version with everything in it. They could’ve added it to Persona 3 Portable at any time and didn’t. Not even when it got ‘remastered’ for console/pc release.
I mean, they made sure of that anyway with 3rd Birthday’s narrative and ending.
To be fair, most people prefer to ignore 3rd Birthday given its story. Not to mention that once the plot is fully revealed, the shower scene becomes even more problematic.
My initial response is:
I’m still annoyed about how ‘woke’ has been taken out of context for agendas in the first place.
Is it just me, or would Madame Web and Morbius have been better using the Disney+ show format?
Could be worse.
Ashley at least has a reason to be somewhat space racist too. Her grandfather was forced to surrender his garrison during the First Contact War. The stigma of being the first human to surrender to an alien caused prejudice from the higher ups in the military towards her family. It’s part of the reason why her career…
I always considered it more like gameplay mechanics vs narrative. Gameplay mechanics means you can actually get a game over and die but the narrative usually doesn’t include that. There are exceptions like scripted events that occur during gameplay but those are essentially part of the narrative creeping in.
Not gonna lie, I’d probably vote Johnson/Cena or Cena/Johnson.
I’m guessing the third game will go full Donnie Darko/Butterfly Effect and wind up having this Cloud go back and help the Ancients eradicate Jenova entirely to make a healthy world untainted by Jenova cells entirely.
It’s weird that people really weren’t complaining about multiverse being a fairly common plot element until the MCU used it on the big screen. Games, shows, movies, etc have been using it for years and the concept itself has existed since before the common era.
As much as I was a huge ME fan until 3, I always wanted them to do something new with Jade Empire.
Even when they were there, they kept getting moved between projects, which likely didn’t help.
It doesn’t help that just about all the MMOs that followed tried copying the WoW format but ignored the thing that was making WoW successful. Ease of accessibility and quality of life updates. Wildstar came out and was great but then had endgame attunement requirements that were extremely annoying. Age of Conan was…
Nah. The solution is to kick everyone off the land and sell it to Disney to convert into a totalitarian historical theme park. People will naturally form settlements around it and any dissent will be dealt with by paid mercenaries/park staff dressed like licensed Stormtroopers.
So we need to get a game that is made by Kojima, David Lynch, and Christopher Nolan, all narrated by the duo of Werner Herzog and Morgan Freeman.
*pulls out a copy of The Twin Snakes*
“It is somehow still not as grating as Xenosaga’s cut scene shenanigans though.”
