To be fair, the third game kinda undermined the choice-based experience as well in order to force the thematic shift. Not to mention the negation of most of those choices via the galactic readiness setup.

I’m still surprised they haven’t done a Battlefield-type Mass Effect multiplayer game. The First Contact War, The Batarian invasion that was key to one possible Shepard backstory, Akuze... all would be great multiplayer set pieces.

They did a live action Ranma thing before Streaming was big. It was pretty much just the intro parts of the series. Never even got to Shampoo’s appearance.

I think between Gaga and Perry, Gaga comes off as someone who’s personality is natural while Perry’s seems purposely manufactured (and that isn’t saying she doesn’t try to embrace it, but that it comes off as she’s trying too hard and slips out of character at odd points).

Honestly, I don’t miss the movie theater experience mainly because it was extremely rare for me to have a good theater experience. The best experiences I’ve ever had in theaters were when hardly anyone else was there.

I mean, he got kidnapped by Mantis and Drax just to cheer up Starlord. Of course he’ll need a disguise for anonymity.

True. The main issue I had with the film was the decision to make it like a sequel would be a given and include plot threads from different parts of the series without any real context.

Oh yeah? Well I wasn’t happy when James Cameron gave away his chance to direct Battle Angel Alita after holding the film rights for over a decade in order to make a crossover between Dances with Wolves, the Smurfs, and Fern Gully.

Examples of rappers playing hero...

Hard to pick one.

Oh the films were enjoyable. It’s just for the overall story they were kinda pointless (so far). I mean, Venom was technically in No Way Home but spent his entire time in a bar only to leave a part of itself when they went back to their home dimension. Will that ever pay off? Who knows.

Sony seems like they start off with good ideas but when it comes time to execute they choose the worst possible script. It just kinda feels like the corporate meddling that led to the bloated Spider-Man 3 problems, forcing Goblin and Gwen’s death into TASM 2 (seriously, right after killing her father the previous film

I’d note that another big problem with Phase 4+ is that people seem to want quick gratification in terms of overall saga plot/stages. Every Phase 4 film seemed to have complaints about people not being able to get a feel what the overall saga was going to be about. Then for some reason each film has been extremely

At least he can say it was a better movie than Will Ferril’s Sherlock Holmes film.

I think the problem with Black Adam wasn’t the lack of comedy so much as a fundamental misunderstanding of the character, attempting to stay on brand with The Rock’s ‘hero’ style, and just poor writing. I mean, all they had to do was make a Superpowered version of the Rock’s film ‘Faster’ and they would’ve nailed it.

The lines right after the headline could be read that way if you were skimming it. I guess it’d be a subline?

Now playing

I think going bald took away his ability to be ‘fun’. He definitely was a different person pre- Fast 5.

There was that video of Diesel being happy about Riddick 3 sales and ‘dancing’ which involved him just moving around and rubbing his crotch.

That feeling when you realize Patton Oswalt’s Filibuster would’ve made a great Star Wars x Marvel What If? Special.

I kinda feel like it did happen again in the form of Brooklyn Nine Nine.
