I can now include “99 Red Balloons” and “The Safety Dance” in all my playlists again.

Yeah, they turned a decent dress into a tacky nightmare. My reaction to that was, “Okay, I don’t get fashion at all. That thing is hideous.”

“Capturing the energy of the 1980's”

“But if you don’t get married and have a baby who’s going to take care of you when you’re older?”

“...I honestly think he’s a great supporting actor.”

A more fitting punishment is to tell them they are getting 5 years probation and then jail them for a year. That would be a great reaction vid.

This makes me happier than anything, for some reason. The whole idea of Dump in full rant, waving his tiny hands, giant tie unfurled and flapping, and half his audience is totally tuned out and reading listicles.

I don’t think this retailer is as high-end as Kleinfeld’s (the store at the center of the reality show Say Yes to the Dress - my best friend bought her dress from Kleinfeld’s and it was $4500). Looking at the Alfred Angelo website quickly, the stuff I saw was in the thousand-dollar range. But a) that’s a lot of money

Poor naïve Zoidberg. These dresses start at around $1,000. Most are more like $1,500.

I mean...I’m very anti-weddings myself, and find lavish, expensive weddings terribly passé...but even I can empathize with the stress and disappointment of paying hundreds of dollars for something and getting the shaft.

I’m sorry, but Obama wore a tan suit to a press briefing. And at one point he put his feet on a desk.

Obama? I was just telling a co-worker I miss Bush Jr. he can even bring along Cheney.

I was going to leave something snarky about how I’m not going to do your research for you and if you want to dig in to your preconceived and humorously uninformed conclusion, that would be fine with me. But then I remembered a friend posted a relatively (relatively!) succinct explanation, so I’ll just paste it here.

Actually yes, police enforcing civil contracts between private parties without a court order is pretty much one of the things I expect from a police state!

Did he belligerently refuse or did he just refuse? Not cooperating is not belligerence.

You misspelled “being physically removed from a flight with violent force by police officers because an airline needed to accommodate an employee.”

Hey, if you’re here to say this guy is faking it, just looking for a payday, or should have just followed police-state instructions and this is all his fault, allow me to preemptively invite you to go fuck yourself.

▪ The club was cited for not maintaining the coolers in proper working order. The walk-in cooler was set to 36º, much warmer than required by code. Several dead Russian prostitutes were not properly wrapped and vacuum sealed and possible bacteria infection was discovered.

If you like seven deadly, try to find one called Ojai old vine zin. All the bottle has on it is a little black and silver OVZ logo. Really good, and you can get it at cost plus world market (my go to wine store) for $10-12.

I’m into the La Vielle Ferme and the Mulderbosch both! Wine sisters!
