By the sound of it, I’d think Velocity is looking to add product promotion into the mix, too. If Edd’s leaving wasn’t enough to stop me from watching (and it definitely is...), having to watch those product-placements would certainly push it over the line.

This is the kind of thinking I can absolutely agree with. The aircraft carrier is not an obsolete concept. Perhaps the cold-war scale of the ships is unnecessary, but power projection is still quite important.
