I had been waiting for months to sit in a new WRX with the OEM Recaro seats. Then when orders finally opened up for the ‘18 WRX, I bought a ‘17 SS with a 6-speed manual.

Previous car was an 02 WRX that was extensively modified, but not modified well. 6 speed swap, STI engine swap, fairly large turbo running a dumb amount of boost, giant intercooler on the front of the car, and of course daily driven.

4Loko coolant overflow tank. Let’s just say I was a bit drunk (I’ll give you two guesses as to how that happened), completely ignored the notion that my coolant overflow tank wouldn’t fit under the hood after the FMIC install, and the problem became the solution.

Shenanigans. I’ve been driving WRXs for a decade now, with 3 very different gear sets and a handful of engine setups, and I’ve never had that problem.
