No, I’m making a joke based on the fact that the media always looks for mental illness when white people do something wrong, but almost never consider the issue for others.

The joke was that white people’s terrible behavior (up to and including mass shootings) is almost always explained in the media by mental illness, whereas non-white people are almost never given the same treatment - as though blackness itself is enough of a problem that they need not look for an affective or cognitive
