Depends on where you go. We’ve booked with a place that only does weddings, so although we’re paying a little more per person up front than a banquet hall, it includes the champagne toast, switching of the ceremony room to the reception, open bar (with no charges by number of bottles opened or drinks ordered), cake…

I’d vote for the latter. As is, it’s only meaningful for those who have been watching this case. Someone who doesn’t know about her at all wouldn’t see anything controversial about this except the name.

But...but....if we start treating the poor like people when it comes to bail, soon they’ll expect it throughout the entire law enforcement system!! Won’t that be dangerous for officers on the ground, to take care before they use deadly force? Won’t that be dangerous for economic stability if we don’t have fines and…

Agreed! I turn 39 this year, and I’m renting a cabin for a vacation/party. I hope no one gives me side-eye for it, but if they do, they shouldn't be drinking the booze I bought at the cabin I rented, and that's that.

I think she may be saying there is no grey areas? From her words it SEEMS like she’s saying there’s no such thing as consent (maybe?), but I think that’s because I’m having trouble understanding her, not because that’s what she’s actually saying.

Thank you for watching & describing this, because I wasn’t going to, but I was also quite curious. This whole thing has had me so confused from the start, but at this point I really feel like giving her additional attention is akin to enabling someone with a mental disorder.

I can only answer one of those questions, and it’s the french one. It’s from The treachery of Images by Magritte - it’s a picture of a pipe that says it isn’t a pipe underneath (because, of course, it’s an image).
