Yeah, I don't get the hate either. From what I know, he's a decent, mature guy. He's a hell of a lot cooler that I would have been had I been in his shoes at 26.

It's probably also worth noting that while Tom Peters is in charge of that studio, there were a lot of designers working on the C7. The drawings that were chosen as the inspiration for the C7 were done by a younger guy. I can't remember his name now, but Tom Peters pointed him out to me last week at some event.

I haven't heard a lot of people saying that the Stingray is ugly. I think it's a huge improvement over the C5 and C6.

I still want cigarettes.

Big LOL, dick.

There's a yearly Old Engine Show in Buckley, MI which is just South of my hometown. It's a lot like what's happening in the video above. Old steam tractors, hit and miss implements and all that. It's fucking rad.

I grew up here. I just moved to Detroit. I fucking love my new city.

Yeah, OK, but then I can't take an 18-wheeler through the Corkscrew like I was promised.

Hey Dan, would you be open to talking about a feature in Autoweek? If so, please send me a note at rcarroll at crain dot com. Thanks, Rory.

When I first started driving a 911, I did it based on these types of conversations. Often, you get the idea that you need to give the car additional throttle when the rear steps out. I've learned the hard way that you really want to maintain throttle, rather than put the two-tones to the floorboards—as grampa used to

Yes, it's true. Unfortunate, but true.

I've been wondering about these for years. Looking forward to the answer.

Pretty sure you can't.

Yeah, all I was saying is that you can't shoot someone to protect an empty abandoned house. The law allows you to defend your life, not your property.
