Thanks a million for your thoughts. We have given him the orajel (sp?) a few times, but he doesn't seem to have it work for long. I tried it for kicks on my gums and it only lasted a few minutes, so I am sure it's not enough. Guess we should just do it more frequently.

Progress — yes. Slowly but surely. It's a long way up from the depths of hell — and by that I mean Greg Robinson. If you don't know of Troy Nunes Is An Absolute Magician (SU blog), I would highly suggest you keep the RSS feed close. Great blog.

Andre Drummond. Mother F. Just shaking my head in frustration. Somehow Calhoun pulls another one out of his ass. I know I am biased, but Storrs is a hellhole.

Haha, all good. Nice comeback late and an OT win. I realize Wake Forest isn't top of the ACC, but a good win to start the season. Down here in DC it was only on ESPN streaming, not even on the TV proper.

Thanks for sharing — I saw this last night and couldn't think that was true as ESPN presented. But since it gives cannon fodder for Hickey, et. al. I also wasn't surprised to see it either.

I'm saying that acting as if you know exactly what he is/isn't or was/wasn't thinking isn't representative of the facts. It's all good. Have a great day.

"but what is more likely is he was calling to complain over and over."

Absolutely disagree. When it comes to Comcast, having backup of EVERYTHING you've done to communicate with them is a must. They frequently went back on their word in Mark's experience. That is unacceptable from a business / customer standpoint. Otherwise, if there is no record of communication and Comcast's

The real bummer in this is that MLB won't allow any clips from the court proceedings to be embedded on any other site than MLB.com ... but I look forward to MS Paint versions of the hearings.

I'd say a nice brisket from the smoker. Takes a long time, but it's so worth it in the end.

You're 100% spot on good sir. I would love to continue this offline later on as I am unfortunately being pulled away by my teething son. There has been some wonderful golf and a ton of competition. I wanted to drop a line immediately as I was perusing before the nightly teething episode.

Well played, good sir.

Sorry, I was drawing a fans-of conclusion toward the end of the world. I do see what you mean though, sorry for the confusion.

I don't find Bruins fans 1/100th as bad a Red Sox fans, so it could be worse ... it could have been Canucks fans celebrating. I'm sure we'll see them complain that the Bruins celebrated too long before shaking hands to end the series (or something similar).

When the going gets tough, the Sedins can really be taken off of their games. It's not anything new.

I'll ask you this: Canucks vs. Ditka for the Cup ... and Ditka has a lefty stick but he's a righty. One-on-five w/out a goalie. Who ya got?

Just not a smart play with the whole season running out of time like that. Regardless of the Chara high stick, you can't retaliate like that. And as I'm watching now, Burrows flops like a soccer player. You'd think snipers were stationed around the arena with how they flop.

I think anyone who needs Bill Simmons to help them analyze hockey (or understand how Teen Wolf might apply to Tyler Seguin) needs to find a new sport to follow.
