Exactly. At least now while my son's little, seeing Otto (mascot) on TV is good enough for him. I can ease him in to the heart troubles later on. Haha.

I hope not, those calls by the officials which ended in technicals and an intentional foul were as awful as ever been. That was atrocious and the referees decided the game, not the players.
I was home from work today with my son (a little past his 2nd birthday) and got to watch the Syracuse game with him, mostly while he played with his toys. I wonder if I am a bad parent subjecting him to a lifetime of heart issues due to SU hoops, but you know what, that's what I got growing up so I'm happy to pass it…
That is wonderful. T.R.O.Y. and quite a Sure Shot.
Glad to hear — it's been cold here in DC. Not Syracuse-level of cold, but cold for the mid Atlantic. Stay well my friend!
So, assuming the rest of the week is one unscathed, who ya got at #1 next? Michigan? Kansas? SU (gasp!)?
So it may be the awful Syracuse loss yesterday, or the even more awful Giants loss today, but I'm enjoying some Double Black tonight to take the edge off (*). Who's up and around and what are you having?
Yes indeed sir — my wife is on a trip for work in Colombia. She finally got online after a week off the grid and got to see our little son via Skype (he's 22 months today). It made my day and hers.
Don Orsillo must be pleased getting to call an actual MLB game though, after suffering through the second half of the Red Sox season.
Hey Cave, did you see the previous pitch that was a pretty normal looking strike (that would have been strike three, BTW), but the ump called a ball for some reason? I guess things even out.
I will keep trying. I love reading DUAN comments as I can, and seeing where the night had taken everyone. This makes it much more difficult to do so. Let's get a chronological view here stat!
I haven't replied a ton at DS over the last few years, but read a ton and love the comments in chronological order. I'm definitely in favor of your suggested tweak to the comment layout — I think you summed it up perfectly.
I was at the Caps/Rangers last night. That was a long extra few sessions, almost another full 60 minutes! It's been amazing how many OT games we have seen this year.
Can you help me figure out how to get those suction cup window shades to stay up on my back windows? They keep falling off and my son gets so annoyed at the sun getting into his face in the car seat.
I hope DUAN exists somewhere. I don't get to comment a lot, but I read a ton and love catching up on all the great people who are on here. I really am not excited about the Burner thing as well.
Solomon's Key. That was hard as hell as a 9 year old. Equally hard in my mid 30s.
Chicago's power play is a goddamn traveshamockery. Painful to watch. Lazy, nonchalant. Grr.
I want to give all DS commenters the benefit of the doubt Lots of awesome folks here. but damn, that is just .. wrong. I don't care if it's freaking Zetterberg that Torres hits like that, it's plain CHARGING. That is suspendable. A major should have been assessed.
Please for the love of all that is Holy can we get a Joe Murphy to Amonte to Roenick OT winner.
BJ, no offense my friend, but that is plain ignorant on your part. That is clearly a charging major. The puck is NOWHERE TO BE FOUND. You cannot be serious. Please tell me you play hockey. I have no idea how you can justify that as legit.
