Are we even positive this is going to be in such high demand...? I like it, but are the people shopping for a sensible family van - no matter how cool/funky it is - willing & able to pay more than $5k over MSRP? It makes sense for supercars and things like the Raptor, but a VW van....? I dunno

So it’s Waymo’s fault that the laws of physics were against it? Sounds like it was driving at operable speeds (assuming 35mph), a dog ran out, it saw the dog but there simply wasn’t time to stop. Could’ve happened to literally anyone. It sucks, but so does life.

I loved this Quest! The funky interior, storage galore, sky light windows, tons of tech... back when Nissan/Infiniti were actually innovating.

Seems like that’s their plan!

Some people really need to get a life... too much free time

Where are you seeing a 51KWh pack option? Volvo’s site shows the 1 pack size and 2 motor options; with the base single motor offering the highest range. Unless the US is only getting the larger pack

I like it way more than I thought I would, especially the price. Lack of buttons/instruments is a downer, but Volvo has had a majority of controls buried in the screen for almost a decade now, so not a surprise. What is a surprise is the lack of HUD considering the Zeekr X variant has a really nice HUD, and I (think)

I dunno about the world as a whole, but I think the US is so numb from the past 10 years that most people wouldn’t respond strongly to alien life. Not to mention decades of sci-fi movies, books and conspiracy theories that have subconsciously prepared us for such a day. There would be initial shock no doubt, but I

Why not just limit the speed and number of rotations to prevent any sort of digging effect?

So I assume 4.6 percent of borrowers are all Nissan drivers...?

Maybe I’m biased cz I used to own one, but I think the original S60/S60R still looks fantastic today. The latest S60 looks even better, especially in V60 guise 🤤

Leasing with the intent to own is bad either way. Most people who lease jump from car to car at the end and only care about the monthly payment. Not saying I agree (I've never leased) but this is how a majority of people I know shop for cars.

From a pure cost perspective, you can lease a base 3 with little down for <$400/mo for 3 years. Considering you’re saving at least $100/mo in gas and even more in annual maintenance, I think it’s safe to say people are willing to set aside a few quibbles to lease a 3 for the same (or cheaper) than something like a

Without Covid I’d guess it’d only be delayed 1 year. With Covid it stretched to 3-4

Why did they interview a 12 year old about witnessing a man’s death? Especially if the mother was present and always a witness...?

Realistically yes. But if I’m spending a few million on a car I’d expect it to at least do a few laps without breaking down.

I think this little thing called Covid had a lot to due with its delay...

Ooof between this and the TWO prototypes that broke down while filming Top Gear, together with a mediocre review from Chris Harris.... not looking good for the AMG team

They’re pretty common. Trucks, buses and most heavy machinery have similar seats

I’m a pretty aggressive driver (gotta be living in LA), but even I still stop when someone is in the process of crossing the street... it’s common curiosity
