It’s closer to 67% US of gun deaths are suicides. Although, you won’t find lower suicides rates correlating with lower gun ownership. Perhaps those suicide happen regardless, maybe the don’t. There are many countries without legal gun ownership that have higher rates.

The US’s gun death rate is largely based on its high suicide rate. The gun homocide rate is relatively low.

How are you going to train and certify pilots in sling load operations with a winch?

They were performing sling load training which requires the hook up, lift, a specified flight distance, lower, de-hook and land to meet certification requirements. For it to be worth the Army’s time and money, they needed to get the full training iteration.

The army has more aircraft than the air force. 90% of rotary wing aircraft are in the Army with the remainder mostly in the USMC and a handful in the Navy and Airforce.

Except they have to rehearse and certify on sling loads anyway. So whether its a stuck HMMWV or a shipping container in a field for training, the pilots and crews got their work in. Also flight hours are required. Most the time the pilots are just flying around performing various maneuvers to log hours. Sometimes

No one in the military calls them “hummers.” That started with crappy hollywood action movies and then it caught on with civilians.

Because you drive the vehicles you have. USAF Security Forces are deployable units therefore they are equipped with vehicles that you can take into a combat zone.

But none of those things are inherently socialist.

And Canada exercises little control in the management of both humans and industries. They have social programs, but as a nation, they don’t follow the socialist economic model.

Fair enough. Good chat. I’ve probably spent too much time already discussing SUVs.

Of course, but AWD performs better than 4WD under most conditions. Just refuting your argument against the Sienna.

Neither does the 2017 Durango. AWD drivetrain.

What am I missing? Dodge’s site lists all versions of the 2017 Durango as have in AWD or RWD... not selectable.

True, but AWD is superior to 4WD on pavement, dirt, ice, snow and rain. 4wD is really only superior in mud and rock.

Here’s how seat usage breaks down:

Sienna comes in AWD and would be far more comfortable for 8 adults.

You should really look into an Odyssey.

Smaller than a RAV4 and car and driver recommends people 6 feet tall avoid the Durango in your link.

Neither Sweden or Canada are socialist. In both countries, the lion share of GDP is generated through privately owned business and industry within a free market capitalist system.
