Sexual assault rates in the military are actually lower than that of undergrads at the public university.

All retired officers are part of the inactive reserve. You are being pedantic.
And Mattis left the military in 2013—also a civilian.
Fair point, but Abreu entered the US in 2013.
Cubans are granted political refugee status under US Law. There are rare circumstances where they are deported, athlete or not—but it’s unusual.
All of them in Iraq and Afghanistan? Also 15 in Pakistan and 1 in Uzbekistan.
2 of them, no. 3 of them, yes.
“Got the veteran killed.” Do you share the same disdain for Obama for the 3000+ servicemen and women who died during his administration?
And Obama appointed SGT Chuck Hagel and 1LT Leon Penetta as sec def. In fact, the majority of SecDefs had prior military careers.
Waaay to early for that. Numbers are released by the quarter.
Anecdotal evidence is anecdotal.
Pittsburg Blue, my friend.
What you want to ask for is “Pittsburg Blue.”
I don’t think that’s fair. Entry pay for the US military is low $40k a year with full medical, matching 401K (TSP) and the potential for college paid for on the back end. Not many employers right out of high school that offer that. For the careerist, you can make around 6 figures as a Sr. NCO or well beyond that as an…
I’m no type disagreeing with you, but I don’t think my statement is misleading either. Take the Army right now; they are not allowing recruits in with more than 4 traffic tickets. No waivers.

The military is doing fine with recruiting. In fact, it has been turning otherwise qualified people away since 2010.
Ok. Which is still a softer stance on the issue than every other president in history.
Gay and transgendered are not the same thing. They are sortof related in regards to social acceptance. That said, many in the gay community resent being lumped in with the T population, feeling that it undermines thier progress.
Ok, but the T-level testing applies to NCAA and IOC competition. Do we expect high schools to have the financial resources (or authority) to subject minors to hormone testing?
