Not really. I used to build my own systems back in college. I now make about $200,ooo a year. My time, according to salary, is worth about $180 an hour. So the time it takes to price, configure, order, recieve, assemble and install well exceeds $2,000 when you look at it in terms of opportunity cost.

I would imagine it has redundant air intake through the grille. Most functional hood intakes are also piped from the grille should the hood become obstructed in the manner you describe.

The 3L ecodiesel is neither powerful or fuel efficient. Its an off the shelf VM Motori engine that Fiat re-purposed so they could push the Ram 1500 diesel to market before their competitors. We don’t need more of this.
