its probably because we see most waves at the shore because they rise out of the water, due to the rapid decrease in ocean depth as you approach the beach. With these monsters, they probably hit a unstable height farther out in the ocean than the waves we see hit the shore.

yeah, I agree with the other posters, and call bullshit. I went to a magnet school, picked up all the AP credits I could (save for math and latin) as well as a host of IB credits and did fine. However I knew plenty of student who had less AP/IB credits but went to better schools. They just were not as mandatory back…

I star you only for Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. Movie runs perfect, both as great film noir as well as a noir spoof. Shows some of the absurdity of film noirs as well as being a great little whodunit

I dont know where they got some of their facts, the IACUC does review protocols that involve mice, thus countering the claim that the AWA/IACUC doesnt deal with the bulk of research animals (mice). Also animals must be housed in heated facilities, usually one of the universities vivariums.

I think this kind of madcap movie could be possible if Guardians of the Galaxy is a hit. This can open up the whole world of comic book movies where ACTION! ADVENTURE! EXPLOSIONS! have to be the main selling point. The newest xmen movies have started giving a taste of that with a bit more spy vs spy theatrics.
