Yeah, the GT with PP2 option and GT350 (and soon the GT500), and they pull in excess of 1g, compared to 0.87g of your SUV. The regular Camaro SS and PP1 Mustang still manage 1g cornering with 275s in the rear. 300+ width tires aren’t an absolute necessity for grip.

That’s a more aggressive setup than most supercars... fun fact - you don’t need that much tire if the rest of the car is properly set up and not over 4,000 lbs.
It also has almost 2000 more lbs to haul around.
Those X5 tries are hugely aggressive and not just on the G05. I think maybe the top end E70 has just the widest rubber for an SUV. Everytime I see one on the road I stare with envy.
