Early euro e36s M3s are now eligible for import. That being said, the S52 was still a fun engine. I had an S52 Z3M Roadster before I moved up to an S54 Z3M Coupe, and I can honestly say that the difference in acceleration is not much different unless you wind the engines out beyond 4k rpm.
