Interesting. It would be nice to have mouse and keyboard for Star Trek Online on the X Box.
Ok, glad to know I wasn’t the only one who saw that oddity.
If I get one, I’m going to take some video clips and ask people if they like Gladiator movies. Also, I’d call it Joey
That’s actually one add-on or whatever, that I’ve been waiting for. There are some games that just play better (ok that I’m able to play better on) with a keyboard and mouse. Star Trek online is one of those that I find very difficult to navigate with a controller, and with a mouse and keyboard, I’d be more accurate…
I belong to a 4x4 club based out of San Jose, Esprit de Four; mostly jeeps but there are a few Toyota’s, a Unimog and some other random vehicles. Pretty family friendly and we tend to have a run of some kind every month; from a day run to Hollister, overnighters on the Rubicon and during King of the Hammers. The club…
I’d have to say, hearing what sounds like a bunch of rocks being thrown about in a metal box aka a destroyed transfer case.
Yep, pretty much it. I’ve seen a few straps break loose and come flying back towards the vehicle. Personally saw instances of this happening twice: one went through the front windshield, the other went through the rear (on an older Blazer) and lodged itself in the rear seat.
Another good idea is to have something…
A very interesting read! I’ve played video games for most of my life and recently, playing on the X box with my 9 yr old niece has also been a great bonding experience as well as she like to play the fighting games (Mortal Kombat and Killer Instinct, yes they may not be the best age appropriate games but I’m the…
You’re right, it happens on both sides and it gets tiring hearing the same thing over and over from both sides.
Yes! I had the worst death wobble with just a little play in my trackbar, can’t imagine what it’d be like with that kind of failure. would it be called ultimate death wobble? the wobble of all deaths?
That’s awesome!
Gotta say, those UTVs are fun as hell and after taking a ride at KOH in one got me really thinking about trading my jeep for one.
yes!!!! I still have this CD and make sure to have Hong Kong Phooey and Happy, Happy Joy, Joy on all of my devices.
You make a good point in regards to the gray areas of being off-road, with each group (insurance, dealerships and manufacturers) having their own set of rules. For example, for my insurance, they will do a one time only coverage in case my JK is damaged on the trail (roll over for example) and the dealership won’t…
I went the same route as you, bought the cheapo Harbor Freight welder and have been having all kinds of moronic fun with it. Yes, I’ve been creating mostly “art” with it but I’m at the point where my welds are strong enough to be functional. First project was a welding table that’s still holding up to this day.
I have the same stance and try to be aware of anything that might stick out or hit a vehicle, and yes, I’ll suck in my gut too.
This is what blows my mind: there’s no way I can justify spending $53k on a rig where I’ll need to spend and an additional $5-$10k on aftermarket parts (bumpers, proper rock sliders, lockers, etc, and I purchased my 2009 JKUR at $26k brand new). If I get another rig, I’d be better off getting a built JK or Tacoma for…
Agree with all of this and it can be applied to off-road tires as well.
Loved that feature on my old F150, when I’d go surfing, I had the code written on my surfboard with a Sharpie. It was one less thing to worry about.
