Honestly, I have a base PS4, no gaming pc and a very old 1080 TV. I’ve been planning for a while to upgrade TV and get a console that can take advantage of that for some time. Rumors of the PS5 made me wait and not buy the Pro as a half step.

The problem with obsessive orb collecting in this game is my understanding is that they repopulate whenever you load a new map. There is no getting all the orbs.

I agree wholeheartedly, the Vader section gave me chills and just contextualised how over their heads Cal and Cere were. I was actually a little disappointed that he wasn’t the bad ending I had been expecting. I mean we know these guys don’t do anything significant.
I’m mostly surprised by this not because of it equalling the shining as an adaptation but because Doctor Sleep is a mediocre sequel of the novel the shining at best. I’m now cautiously optimistic.

Although I agree it’s bad and shouldn’t be in games today, it is a game released in 97 with a notoriously wonky translation. They didn’t change any of the script for the remaster as it’s just an up Res of the original warts and all.
