Agreed, as much as we want to think GruntGruntFootbawManTough it’s a very different set of things to think about when it comes to being a QB.

Please, don’t let’s start down this road.
I’d also highly recommend the Room on the Broom cartoon. The animation perfectly captures the book’s art, it actually thoughtfully fills in a few motivational points (impressive for something based on a board book), it’s 30 minutes long, and it’s on Netflix (in the US, at least).
Say what you want, the man directed Staying Alive and Rocky IV. This more than qualifies him to helm anything ever.
Creed 2: Living in ‘Murica
He would have made a great Blofeld (and did for the first part of the movie) had Spectre been, you know, good.
I didn’t remember/realize that Smigel was involved but now that you mention it there’s a lot of his kind of comedy in there. Hopefully that Netflix movie will be good, I haven’t checked any of them out yet but may give Wexler a try at some point.
I have nothing to add except that Don’t Mess With the Zohan is a fucking weird movie that people should watch just so they can say “hey, this fucking weird movie actually exists.” I’m not saying it’s funny (it has some moments), but its tone and set-up and universe is bizarre throughout.
Agreed on Jackson and Tarantino. I especially feel Jackson’s role in Django Unchained was underappreciated. He played a pretty complicated role internally so, so well but it was overshadowed by the bigger issues people had with the film, Leo’s heel turn, and Waltz being Waltz. If anyone ever watches that movie again,…
All riiiiiiiiiiiiiight! *wiggle wiggle wiggle*
I don’t know what you’re talking about, those high waisted pants he wore were clearly a chilling sign of times to come. Repent now! The sartorial apocalypse is nigh!
Yeah, it’s an interesting idea but for a lot of people that way of turning on SOS will just not work.
Most of those shows aren’t even churned out by Netflix, they are foreign shows that Netflix buys the US streaming rights to and claims as one of their originals. Genius straight from the “Syfy Originals” line of business.
No, I get it and there’s certainly not one wrong way or the other. Truth be told, I haven’t watched Glow yet and the Netflix shows I do watch still just have the pop-up option button come up instead of anything automatic. And it’s a well-written piece for what it is. It’s just... a bit much? He’s the professor,…
Ugh, I feel like I just got trapped in a late night dorm room conversation with Neil Young about how if you’re going to listen to an album you shouldn’t shuffle or skip songs because that’s not what the artist intended, man.
“Building code under fire? You don’t say!”
Stealing that.
I’ve changed from “guys” to “folks” in the past few years. Makes me sound old-timey but feels more inclusive. I also once got called out for saying “panties in a bunch” in the office ages ago but no one’s complained about “briefs in a bunch” since.
It’s safe since The Pacific Age to ignore all instrumental/cut-and-paste songs. They are uniformly awful. I will be wary of anything similar in this one but was pleasantly surprised by English Electric so I’ll give it a shot.
