I’m all for Screening Room and I don’t have any grand set-up. I just wish it was $30 or $35 a pop, I’d be more likely to get it then. Also if it didn’t require its own device. Apps, dammit, apps!

Cat needs to check him/herself, you’ve been watching that thing prance around naked for ages.
I don’t know why Deadline calls him a newcomer, he seems to have been working for over a decade. He’s been in Woody Allen and Coen Brothers’ movies! Weird.
I don’t watch any after shows but I do listen to a few Game of Thrones podcasts so I’m used to a delay. Plus it will probably be on Now and Go so people can go ahead and watch it after whenever they’re binging.
The only rides I’ve ever felt motion sick on were this and the Potter ride at Universal Orlando. Something about a screen and very jerky seats just doesn’t seem to work for me.
I did like the first DLC and now have a kick-ass robot companion, so at least there’s that.
I like to snipe and the plasma shots are way too slow for a lot of shots, too. That said, I completely upgraded by gauss rifle (the one you don’t need to reload) and love it. It’s a one hit kill for 75% of the things I run into and I don’t have to waste as much time.
My guess: Mystique dies (well, “dies”) and she’s just getting the ball rolling on marketing misdirection.
I was also interested. From a very quick look at wiki and the web my guess is that they were stewards, which seemed the only ship-board jobs they could have had before WW2 (and even those were very limited). Might not be right, but it seems possible given the number of officers on the ship. They would have definitely…
Thank you for the instructions, I went to the App store and saw $4.99 and was ready to jump on you. Then I actually read the article. Amazing what that can do.
Just remember: Eragon is just Dragon with a letter replaced. So... set expectations accordingly (say, D&D movie level accordingly).
And Charlie Jane, you probably have a huge reading pile but I think you might like Set This House in Order by Ruff. It’s not genre but it tackles a bunch of things you might be interested in. I don’t know if it’s aged well considering how quickly some things in the world have, but I think you’d certainly be interested…
Yep, he’s been quietly putting out a book every few years.
I’m a fan of Ruff, not necessarily every one of his works completely clicks with me, but it’s almost always an interesting and oddly funny ride. I love how he tackles different genres, as well. He’s done urban fantasy (well, college fantasy), sci-fi, psychological drama, a thriller, alternate history, and now…
Yes! Eldritch stuff abounds.
That’s a way better trailer IMO but I still think it’s weird and a bad move to reference the original at the beginning. I mean, you need to have the song, sure, but explicitly reminding people about a movie they may have fondness for and aren’t sure about a remake of? Odd.
I pretty much travel with Nick exclusively and while I love his classic PI look I don’t have the heart to take him out of the Power Armor he found.
That 2-3% is (ok, not actually) literally NOTHING compared to the percentages made in interest payments. The interest made just from people who make the minimum payment alone is gigantic (those are everyone’s favorite customer). It’s like comparing apples to planets.
Thank you! I’m not normally a pedant but that drives me crazy. It should have been Greedo Doesn’t Shoot, dammit.
In reality there’d be people using the name all over the place so this makes sense, it’s not like he could be taken to court. Plus sooner or later there would be Sp1d3r-M@n69, anyway.
