I keep no backlog. I play the game I’m in the mood for playing, and only play one game at a time, once I’m finished I’ll uninstall it and sell it ( if possible) Ultimately every Cent you waste in a Sale, on games you never gonna play, will be missing when you want to buy a new game which you really want to play and

I believe The Last Story would benefit from an HD facelift - its artdesign is heavy on detail - and often I couldn't destinguish the different enemy types during battle because of the low resolution. It could also make great use of the Wii U Gamepad. In the game you had to switch perspective in order to give commands

How ironic that Gabe Newell always thought that Motion Control has no future - when talking about his Steam Controller.

Anyone remember this blond dude Waka from Okami? I think his backstory was that he had landed with a ship on top of a mountain - bringing all sorts of monsters with him that didn't belong to Nippon and therefore disturbed harmony. http://www.emploom.com/wp-content/upl…

To me it's simple: The internet's appeal is interactivity. You don't want to watch someone else use the internet.

15minutes? I thought the game clocks in at around 14hours ;P

I always thought that Sonic was meant to be a homage of the classic fable of the hedgehog and the rabbit racing against eachother where he outsmarts his competitor by having another hedgehog waiting at the finishline that looks just like the first one. This is even more apparent with Sonic Generations as it takes the

Somebody remember that Sonic Bubble-Swallow noise?

Why would anyone do that - to a horse?

Girls can't throw :P

I think the two games can coexist happilly. While Mario Kart is fun and accessible to new gamers - Sonic Racing offers a great learning curve and lots of depth. The difficulty spike you mention is way less frustrating if you play the game at 60frames on PC - the game also allows you to Trashtalk Online on other

I think there's nothing wrong when devs get inspired by their community and mods - it's what people want out of the game. The publisher owns the IP. They give fans what they demand.

The one thing you need to do in order to get yourself mentally ready for PC gaming, is to accept that it will be a PROCESS. It's a hobby. Don't rush it. don't get all worked up. Don't get mad. And the most important rule of all: Stop working on your PC after Dinner. Keep Saturdays ( or Sundays) free for socializing,

There really is only so much you can do within the boundries of passive media like film or even books. Certain scenes have to be staged in a certain way, because they simply work that way - it may seem repetitive but the dramaturgic rules can't just be reinvented with every movie. Just take a look at Cloud Atlas -

I had no such issues - I think the Gollum-Scene was marvelous. If anything the CGI looks even more believable once it is mixed with Life-Action in 3D - because our brain then has to accept that the object (no matter how fantastic it may seem) is present in the space right in front of you. Because that's how visual

I shall open a Cat Steak House one day :)

To me it makes sense that societies are built around sport. Just think about it for a second. Sport allows us to determine our social position without the need to actually fight oneanother - hence it helps allocate ressources within a large group of people and while at the same time encouraging its members to unlock

I do buy and keep good games - I trade those that don't satisfy me. That's how quality is determined in a healthy market - not through Goodwill and Seasonpasses.

Well, this only speaks of the quality and replayvalue of these linear cinematic games - if you make a game like that, expect people to pay movie-ticket prices, not premium game prices.
