@ann_athema: To be fair, it's Boy Scouts that is homophobic and Christian (specifically, Mormon, but they only really have a problem with you if you're atheist). The Girl Scouts as an organization doesn't have that problem. You daughter just had the misfortune of getting an asshole troop leader.

This is the time of year when all the networks order a bunch of shows to pilot. This means that the pilot episode will get made, and about 1/3 of those will be ordered to series. So just because it's a pilot doesn't mean you'll see it on TV. That is the background for what I am about to tell you:
