Everyone who generalizes without exception is an asshole. FTFY.

He’s going off the rails on a Cravy train...

Good thing we didn’t take the over/under or we would have both lost. But you think OKLA would have been closer? Given the way KU was hitting threes? OKLA is one guy.

Are you old enough to remember him when he coached Cincinnati? He is orders of magnitude more calm than then. The heart attack really mellowed him out, man.

Nice. I bet you never get this comment ungrayed....

I’m just glad he didn’t go for the “Sieg Hield” pun...

Only if you’re a Jersey reject...

Wow, those jokes are so original and funny! Did you make them up all by yourself? Good job. Have a pat on the head.

Yep, I saw that foul too. But I was okay with the no-call. Watching other games, I see far too many non-calls get whistles. But I grew up watching old school Big East so I like a physical game.

Did you watch the other two games, or are you just recycling your flatulence as an opinion? OKLA was handled by KU twice already; WVU... not so much.

I’m glad at least one other person saw the official running in to wave it off too.

Kansas handled OKLA easily twice already; you think a rubber match is so much more boring?

Why does every outlet say “was judged to be held too long”? As you stated yourself, it plainly was held too long. There was no error, no subjective interpretation, no “maybe” - it was too late. So state that instead of throwing shade at a team that played very well by suggesting the refs gave them the game. Both teams

No (not seriously), but I did seriously suggest that if you have only observed bigoted interactions in the area where this story takes place, your powers of observation are severely constrained. If a flippant assignation of troll status is your response, well, bully for you. Perhaps though, just maybe, it's

Oh yeah; that was intentional. I was then going to strike through Dawkins, but wasn't sure I could keep the consistency. :)

I get that you're probably seeing a lot of ad hominem attacks at this moment; mine is not intended to be. I hope you feel better after a good night's sleep (or morning coffee, or whatever time-zone appropriate action). Enjoy the low-hanging fruit; I find it sweet, but ultimately not very filling myself.

Oh dear. Has my didacticism been misinterpreted? I asked a question that was unanswered (and still is). Do you think such things as overt religiosity should be prohibited?

Curious. My southern experience has included at least five flavors of religion and a couple of non-religion, wherein all were accepted just fine. Of course, there experiences where the opposite is true too. But I've seen head-scarf wearing people pray in public with no-one batting an eye. But if you want to

So it's kind of like being on a kinja sub-blog forum? Everyone assumes you think exactly like them and God Dawkins forbid you express a contrary sentiment? I am with you with constantly being subjected to rituals/beliefs that others assume I should have, but I recognize that most of the time these rituals give peace

Out of curiosity, was your comment directed toward the patrons of the restaurant or the commenters willing to fake pray for a discount? Because I could see it applying to both. Once in a while I do see someone in public apparently having a genuinely spiritual experience; typically that does not bother me, and I am
