Even the V6 Challenger and V6 Camaro are good deals if you want something sporty but not overly powerful. For me 300-335 HP is a sweet spot. It gives me plenty of power to play with without getting into too much trouble.

Surely I’m not the only one here that thinks of electrically powered trolley cars used around the world. Why not run a hybrid system where the bus runs on fossil fuels when not using the power grid? As the overhead grid expands in time the use of fossil fuels would decrease.
I agree.
No flaming here. I agree. Carry on.
You sound like a lot of fun to be around today. I think you left the ability to detect hyperbole on your pillow this morning. Let me enlighten you as to what I have in mind:
Hey, Buick, if you want my money you need to bring out a new Grand National. I think I have a long wait at this point.
I trust the auto industry lobbyists to throw enough weight & money around to keep the subsidy in place.
If my commute was half as far I would relish driving one of these. It is truly a car you can own for a lifetime.
I think you are 100% correct. Even if it lacks a motor one with a built in handle you can crank yourself (I’m looking at you garden hose storage thingy) would make like easier. Plus it makes much more sense to have the cable built into the car. That would allow makers only have do worry with the bit that goes into a…
Nah. Your idea is bad. You should feel bad.
Nope.
The third generation of the Ford Ranchero (1966 & 1967) is the only one I can think of.
If Ford has built a tiny truck from 1965 to 1969 I imagine a design concept for it would have looked like this. The front end screams Ford Galaxy to me.

You will never fit the following in a Highlander or X5: 1) Nine days of luggage for a family of four without putting the third row of seats down. 2) A dish washer. 3) Clothes washer or dryer. 4) A full sized mattress & box spring. 5) 1,500 pounds of mulch. 6) 4 x 8 sheets of engineered lumber. 7) Seven full sized…
That was my first thought.
My best answer is to get a used Honda Odyssey. Get one that is at least four years old, with a warranty and never look back. It’s basically what we did. You’ll love me for it.
Agreed. We started our family with as 2004 Toyota Highlander as the family hauler. When that car met a unfortunate end we bought a used 2009 Honda Odyssey. The van kicks ass.
