Yes yes yes. WD40 is not a lubricant or a penetrant. It makes a relatively thick film - to displace water for corrosion prevention, hence the “WD” - and is a poor choice for stuck fasteners. I use AeroKroil myself, but PB blaster is OK in a pinch.
