Maybe I'm thinking about this too hard, but a lot of the problems could be fixed just by FOLLOWING THE PRINTED RULES.
I hope the 100 point system goes through, if only so we can see a Krohn - Alonso - McNish lineup at Sebring.
Traction control is not allowed for the GTD cars; this is one of the things that has to be disabled to convert a GT3 car to GTD.
Upside down, in Krohn Green? Maybe not so awesome.
Don't forget the dark horse, Nissan!
You are gonna need some mini KAMAZ trucks to pull them out of the dunes.
The IMSA Tudor Series GTLM cars are the same spec as the WEC GTE cars. This is how the IMSA Vettes go over to LeMans.
Both share the same chassis. GT3 is more lightly modifed, many more stock components. GTE is much more modified, upgraded suspension, new airboxes, etc. The higher cost of GTE cars basically means they are factory teams, very few privateers.
The engine needs to match a production configuration. If you can't buy one from the factory with a turbo, you can't GTE one with a turbo.
You've got it wrong. Cutting to commercial at a bad time is an honest screwup. JV, but honest.
The only problem is that I think the hybrid system must be mostly automatic; not push-to-pass. Might be tricky to only have it go off on the 4 big straights.
Agreed. I'm not a fan of JT's humor, but you know what? I just don't follow him, and I sure don't troll him about it.
I had a coworker who used one after foot surgery. Doctor didn't want him putting any weight on it, and made him use it instead of crutches.
You bet, will be interesting. The car Mike has laid out is a LeMans monster, probably not so great on the rest of the WEC circuits, as opposed to the TS040 which loves all the other twisty bits. Yet even more diversity in the class, will be fun to watch!
Let's do a little math and figure out why 2000HP isn't batshit.
Not that I can find. Grades are for safety.
Renault let the Gordini US trademark expire. Gordon trademarked Gordini in 2013.
That is true. I'm just saying that WEC only going to Grade 1 tracks may be correlation, not causation; those are the tracks that tend to have garages instead of pit walls, and probably have better facilities, regardless of whether or not the track itself is any good.
