I love this car. This is the car I learned how to drive a manual in. I’ve been looking for a good example of one.. just can’t find it.

I’m glad you guys are posting this. Acura must be starting to wonder why the love for NSX 2.0 is just not there. (I own 2 Gen 1 NSXs and I don’t like the new one). Any negativity about the car just keeps dropping the sales numbers and makes it tough for Honda/Acura to recoup the costs of development.

Agreed. Most people have not truly learned car control... it’s worse when you deal with super rich exotic car owners. They forget that their 675458 speciaLT will save them all the time or they’re driving at 8/10ths but think they’re driving at 10/10ths. Then you tell them try a spec miata.. learn the track... learn

Disagree. I own a 1991 NSX with 15k miles. Have had it for a year. I live in California. I’ve owned it one year. I paid 600 insurance. I paid 450 registration fees. And similar tax as stated above. Since it was 15k miles and in pristine condition, I just had to have it looked over and some stuff updated for about 500

I would agree with most of this. That being said, overcapacity has always been the American way. Overcapacity as a rationale can be both valid and completely obnoxious. Valid = I need a vehicle that usually deals with the 300lb tongue weight of my Featherlite + NSX. But sometimes, I need might need to tow something

I’m completely with you. The political system is a disaster. I’m fiscally conservative, socially liberal, I think racism exists, but I think all lives matter. I believe the economic disparity is getting way out of hand, but I hate the idea of socialism.

I understand how you feel. Trust me, came from a poor family and this is my one shot to own a supercar that I wanted. It seems dumb as shit that we would even complain at all. But they straight up lied to us. Wouldn’t have specc’d the car the way it was had they told us the car was coming as a spider.

Great post. I’m a 675LT coupe owner - a mexico blue one with a roof scoop. I was at that dinner. What upsets us is that McLaren straight out told us in a press release and in person that there would be no coupe. That the 675LT would be limited to 500 cars, coupe only. So we all clamored to order it. I don’t mind if

Not sure why you keep disparaging low mileage “collector cars.” I have two 1991 NSXs - a white 89k mile one which I am building into a dedicated track car and a silver 15k mile one which I drive one weekend a month to keep those “perishable parts” from atrophy.

I stopped using twitter long long ago. This just guarantees my interest will never be piqued again.

Completely agree... crowd is WAY too close for this. That and the driver should compensate for this.

Having been an owner of a 2001.5 S4, I’ve always loved the A4 go fast variants. But since the RS4, the A4 line has been going rather sterile. Hence, I own a 2008 RS4 and won’t give it away for the life of me. Manual, V8, AWD 4 door sedan with a 8250 redline? Audi’s lost its way.

I agree and disagree. I have a 14k mile 1991 NSX and it drives well with no problems. The owner made sure to do maintenance religiously every year for the last 24 years. This is my “investment” NSX. I have another 1991 NSX with 89k miles - it’s getting ripped to the chassis and rebuilt from the ground up for much more

All I care about is how the AMG Black Series will look like.

Completely agree. The first NSX did a great job because:

I’m sure you’ve flown a plane full of passengers with no vision and landed it safely.

I can tell you that my Audi RS4 hunts down a lot of cars on the track. Stock. And it understeers some but not a ton. I’m sure Porsche got a lot of shit too for where they put the engine. Makes no sense either.

I think everyone worries about color choice. Or else we’d all be driving the same color. Doesn’t matter your economic class.

You have more time on your hands to research than many people do. I buy used cars a lot and I don’t have that much time to do so. That being said - some research and basic common sense applies.

There will be something like 1250 GT4s here. There will be less than 200 675LTs here. I think the 675LT qualifies as more rare.
