I did a similar desk last summer. Black iron pipes for the legs and a maple block I got from a local wood shop. Built a shelf into mine to help get my monitors a little bit taller, tends to help with my posture.

I solved that problem. I bought an electric bike and now everywhere I go is downhill. Don’t tell everyone though. I think it might be causing earthquakes in the mid west.
