If I was one to use this product, I could see hiding one in my own car (and indeed every family car, with full disclosure and agreement with my family), for one.  I’d hide one in my tech bag (laptop, tablet).  And travelers putting them in their luggage to find it when the airline loses it has apparently become a big

Are either of those taking the midnight train going anywhere?

Relevant: On the ballot today in Missouri is Amendment 4, which would amend the state constitution to require Kansas City (MO) to use 25% of it’s budget to fund the KCPD (it is currently required to spend 20%).

Kansas: The State Supreme Court ruled that abortion access was protected by the State Constitution.

Kansas City - There’s one in Overland Park, around 103rd and Metcalf. There’s actually a small “Little Korea” thing going, with:

I doubt any other drink mentioned here would be anywhere near like “having your brains smashed out by a slice of lemon wrapped round a large gold brick.”

This smacks of not knowing what gatekeeping is. And probably making a Strawman.

Nope. There never was a dining room. It’s just kitchen, storage, etc - employee only areas. Think like a Rally’s or a Checker’s franchise (which this might have been at one time.

There’s a place in KC called Shwarmar - based around Middle Eastern style wraps, Halal.  Opened in what was once a Popeye’s, it is exclusively drive thru, the type of small place with a lane on each side (though the passenger window accessible one has been replaced with outdoor seating).

You know what design element would help buyers forget about the absence of an air intake grill? A third, central headlight!

So, Shatto, a dairy in the Midwest (I see their glass bottles in about all of the supermarkets in KC) offers a number of flavors, including coffee. And from what I’ve heard anecdotally, there’s more and more around the nation with their own coffee milk. Is it really any different?

There’s a 92 Chicken that opened up near us in a strip mall that has quickly become a Little Korea (its neighbors include Ssong’s Dogs and Tous Les Jours, plus some local shops). It was good, but we had trouble getting over the smell from their on-site pickling (daikon). I know, it’s our western palate, etc... except

A lot don’t have any drive thru, true, but I know of a couple in my region that do.  But even then, it doesn’t seem to be much of a driving (ha ha) force in those location’s sales.

.... and yet it took me something like 4 or 5 guesses to get that one, because I had just watched BladeRunner: 2049 just the night before, which starts with almost that exact cityscape. Got it wrong, of course, which made me doubt myself, so I held off on guessing the original.

I can’t wait to introduce my upcoming line of meat-based pasta and rice.  I expect it to sell like gangbusters.

Now playing

This might be the most appropriately on topic clip of the subject in movies...

Which S was it? I’m not saying there was a lot of cabin room difference between them, but I could see some comfort issues between an SC and an SL2.

Maybe through Lexx in with Farscape, and see which one is further from The Expanse.

Why are uber wealthy a failure of the system? This is how capitalism works.

I know how to sink a boat. I don’t know how to crash the crypto market.
