It's amazing how few people have genuine passion for anything. I'm also shocked at the number of adults who don't have a single genuine friend.

How do you feel about people who read tabloids/gossip mags?

The "afraid of his own shadow" sounds like a Norwegian Forest cat. Maine coons also get big, but seem to be more extroverted, IME.

It's almost certainly a violation of the computer fraud and abuse act.

Show me a first world country with the kind of economy you'd like, and maybe I'll join you. As an engineer, I say if everyone does it the same way, there's probably a good reason.

And yet all first world countries have social programs at least as generous (or more so) as ours. The only countries that don't have old age pensions and health insurance are in the second or third world.

When we have driverless cars, we can think about taking weight out even though it reduces passenger safety. Until then, it's a hard sell.

Yeah. Seems like the only way you get burned on this is if it's stolen.

The Feds have the power to regulate interstate commerce, and the Supreme Court has interpreted that broadly, to include things that can potentially affect interstate commerce.

I'm sorry if I misunderstood. I thought you were talking about past victims who are still within the statute of limitations. I agree with you about those. But I posit there are present or future victims.

You think he'll stop even now? I don't.

Why would he assume he's stopped, though? I'm waiting for the other other other shoe to drop - a recent claim.

Given that these charges have cost him a new sit-com with NBC, I sort of half-expect he will sue. If he doesn't that will speak volumes.
