I completely understand your comment about fonts. There's nothing quite like a good font if you're going to be spending a lot of time reading on-screen text. Although I will say that while the Sega CD version of Eternal Blue has a poor font I'd take that over a lot of what you get in modern games, where the fonts are

I've only ever encountered one shiny Pokemon, and that was when I played Gold years ago. I can't quite remember what Pokemon it was, but I didn't have any bloody Pokeballs to catch it. I've never been so disappointed playing a Pokemon game.

I haven't played Eternal Blue yet, sadly. But I have Silver Star Story Complete, and is awesome. I do find it funny though that, at the time of their releases, the PlayStation Lunar games were criticised for their dated graphics, but when you look back at them now they are arguably the best looking games on the

I find a lot of hate for Chrono Cross comes from the fact that it is different to Chrono Trigger. If the game was released as a stand alone title, without any reference to the Chrono name, a lot of the hate wouldn't even exist. As it is, though, people hate on it for simply not being a full-fledged sequel to Trigger.

The second half of Bravely Default still gives me nightmares. The game was simply magnificent until chapter 5 onwards. It's a testament to how good chapters 1-4 were that the game was still in contention for my favourite games of 2012.

The opening, until the characters leave Midgar, is still my favourite part of the whole game.

Final Fantasy VII has certainly aged, no more so than Final Fantasy IV or VI. That's not to say VII is the best in the series, because it isn't, but it's still a wonderful RPG. The only thing that I find somewhat unappealing about VII now is the graphics. At the time of its release it was a graphical powerhouse, but

Even after 13 years the original Halo is still the best. One of my all-time favourites.

Jason already posted some of my favourites, but here are just a few more.

The music of the Final Fantasy series just brings back so many fond memories, much like the music of the Zelda games. By far my two favourite video game series of all time.

I want one of those N64 controllers for my N64, because it's analogue stick looks a lot more sturdy. All my N64 controllers still have functional analogue sticks, but some of them are really wobbly. If only it was compatible.

Yeah you could plug a Mega Drive AC adapter in to it to play it through the mains, and I'm almost 100% certain it had a car charger adapter too, which comes in handy for car rides. Truthfully though, I have that many rechargeable batteries around my house that the cost isn't really an issue for me.

Just want to say that I have a huge amount of respect for Lee, and I hope he can carry on enjoying video games for many more years.

Well, you could get a battery pack that extended the battery life. Still, even the ability to play a portable Mega Drive, even for as little as 2 hours (which is the average battery life of the Nomad) is still awesome for me.

The Nomad had glaring flaws, but the fact that it was A PORTABLE FREAKING MEGA DRIVE instantly made it awesome. Forget the crappy battery life. Forget the huge size. That thing rocks :P

There does seem to be quite a few similarities between the two. But I'm sure the Steam Box won't tank like the 3DO did.

The only thing about this list that I would change is swapping the 3DO (which wasn't that bad, all things considered) with the R-Zone and placing the R-Zone at number 1. Seriously, the Virtual Boy was like the second-coming of Christ compared to the R-Zone. The biggest hurdle with the 3DO was the price, but it did get

My brother always says Silver because he played it, but I just refer to both games as one. Gold and Silver. Red and Blue. I played Gold, but Silver is equal because it's the same.

Why is Gold inferior? Gold and Silver are exactly the same game outside of a few changes in which Pokemon can be found in each. Same for Red and Blue too.
