These are a heck of a lot better than most of the cheesy families featured in Wii game ads. At least these guys are all believable real people. Not subtle, but who cares? If they work they work. I think it's 90% just getting out awareness that Nintendo has a new product, the rest is kind of rubbish.

It's easy to turn and blame your boss when things go wrong. This guy is much more level-headed and qualified to speak on the topic than the last.

I think you underestimate the importance of the social aspect. The TV has its place in the living room as a communal screen for all but the most hermitic. That position is not going away anytime soon, just the method of putting content on the screen will change.

They are in the background at the end of the second trailer!

My guess: this one is a honeycomb. Normal pikmin are like ants, but this one is a bee.

I was kind of thinking the same thing.

Interesting, a reverse image search shows up a version of that image with no Pokemon in the hexagons.

Is that an official image or fanart?

Considering it's cuter than Mewtwo it better be a second cloning attempt of Mew, Mewthree.

But where is the pink? Not digging the new logo.

So The Walking Dead is both Game of the Year and Worst Game of the Year. Pretty good accomplishment.

Since the position of CEO of Nintendo USA probably doesn't exist I expect it's either Mario or Luigi.

Most multiplayer games don't require nunchaku. Can't speak for NintendoLand though.

Maybe they should stop having launch days altogether and do something closer to the exclusive beta model. Although I imagine not having a big launch could hurt sales.

Isn't this the 3rd re-release of this game? I'm kind of confused why they would bundle this with systems. To ignorant me it looks like little has changed.

Look pretty: yes

It wouldn't be so bad if the Wii U had any other games releasing before March.

Do you have a source for this?

I love watching them try to stretch one announcement video into 10 articles.

Nintendo doesn't put their core teams on remakes. They have a few people from the original team supervise while they contract out most of the work. You get an HD remake without much effect on the rate at which you get new Zeldas.
