I was very concerned when I saw the crafting stuff ahead of release, and thought that it meant it wouldn’t be a game for me. But I can assure you it’s not a valid concern. The game is so damned well made, and when the fusing isn’t optional, it’s far more of a puzzle-solving style than the amazing crafting shown off in

I was a little disappointed at how little damage some of those devices did. And then the 4-vaned propeller just wrecked his health bar and I nodded in approval.

So, this is a feature creep feature for Tears Of The Kingdom? Cool.

The shear number of armor sets. Once you start upgrading the handful of most-useful sets, the others become completely useless because upgrades are so grind-heavy or non-upgradable.

Why can’t I just fuse things from the menu? Why do I have to drop something on the ground first?

The most useless feature is not a feature but a button placement: sprint and jump should not be on opposite sides of the four-button cross. You want to run and then jump at the same time, meaning you want to rest your thumb on one and then roll onto the other (or even better, map sprint to clicking the left stick and

That one time I got stuck swimming in the lake. Only steep cliffs around me and because it was raining, I couldn’t climb out. Super shitty experience.

I love the idea but dammit I want more space and more than 15 freakin’ rooms.

The home builder is severely limiting.

Rain.

It’s nowhere near as punishing as a souls game, but mechanically it seems to be echoing them. The number of beefgate enemies around makes things seem like you are being corralled into a specific path. I just came off of my first Breath of the Wild playthrough just last month and the combat is a bit more dire in Tears

I tried both ways (I do own a legitimate copy), and the best way to play this game, by far, is on the PC. 4K, 60 FPS, much better controller, and most of all... the cheats. I’ve got infinite rupees, infinite arrows, infinite stamina, no equipment breakage... and you know what? I’m not missing anything at all - I know,

I used a dupe glitch purely for money in the game because it will starve you out rupee wise unless you want to spend hours grinding per piece of armor. At some point you are either using a quick glitch or waiting for a blood moon to grind some more, honestly, neither is fun but one of them is much much quicker.

What pushed me to use that was the need for lizalfos tails. The drop rate on those is waaaaaaaaaaay too low. For the sets that require specific tails, you generally need anywhere from 9 to 30+. For example, the snowquil set needs 30 red lizalfos tails and the voe armour set requires 33 icy lizalfos tails.

I guess I just don’t play that way. The game is aggressively sandboxed, doesn’t put things on the map, have a proper journal with items to tick off etc. or anything really, which already makes it harder for me to get into because I am extremely goal-oriented. So what I end up doing is setting mini-goals, basically

rupees are barely in the game not everyone has 200 hour to do it lol

Me googling “how to farm Hinox testicles” is probably going to lead me to not have a good time. I don’t enjoy repetitive tasks for some arbitrary item count.

There is a difference between artificially increasing your time spent in game grinding for items and actually enjoying what you are doing. Using the glitch to

The material drop rates can be awful to upgrade your gear for a single-player game. I spent a good chunk of yesterday farming Lynels — including Silver and White-Maned — for Lynel guts only to get 2 of 15 that I need. I need five Lynel guts to upgrade a piece of Solder’s gear. Silver and White-Maned Lynels are not

Apparently the “fall off a cliff onto your horse while holding a throwable” glitch is still working after the latest patch. Tons of youtube videos out there that can explain the glich way better than I can.

improve the gameplay experience” by taking away the thing people used to improve the gameplay experience. I wonder if it has occurred to Nintendo to look into *why* people used a lot of these glitches? Personally I used it to make the game much more fun by not having to worry about spending dozens of hours doing
