I believe it. I've spent some time in some pretty isolated areas in Missouri and Michigan, and there are more than a few tiny towns where there are Subways but not McDonald's. I don't get it either. Maybe Subways are cheaper to run and thus it's not as much of a risk to put in a low population area? Who knows.

These are good points. I guess I'm somewhat biased because I was heavily involved with my college's women's resource center, and I was given crisis training every semester, which included how to handle a sexual assault victim coming to the office for support or whatever they needed.
