He looks like ... Amanda Palmer.

I have a pair of pet rats, so the qualifier would be how much of it did the rats chew off?

@lolly71: No, unfortunately. She was really attached (heh) to that merkin, so I'd doubt she'd sell it. :/

My art student roommate took a fibers class last semester and the final project for the course was making a merkin. No joke. The professor has a huge sense of humor. Anyway, the title of my roommate's merkin was 'Forbidden Fruit Salad" ... she embroidered fruit on it.

@ConfettiInMyHair: Do they smoke grass out in space, Bowie, or do they smoke ... Astroturf?

I see your Tom Hardy and raise you one Oliver Hardy:

Fuck yeah!

@Medusa: Just like in ... the Paparazzi video!

My mother paid for my tuition, but I'm responsible for student loans, which I think is fair ... until she started nagging me about getting a second job to pay them off. Blergh.

@ManofReason: Which begs the question of why Jesus was at the gym in the first place!

I'm still holding out. I'm pretty sure the last scene with the meeting and Joan saying "Let's start 1965," is setting the stage for some serious shit to go down.

@employeemegan: Yes, that part of odd. Also, the thing with Betty denying Don a chance to see the baby (remember him?) was just bitchy.

This is superbly written, Tracie — and thanks for explaining the John/Marsha thing. The Thanksgiving scene with Betty and the kids was so uncomfortable, and I have so many mixed feelings about the relationship between Betty and Sally — I can't tell who's starting to be more of a brat.

I think all of the above products could have conceivably existed in the 196os (and mostly marketed toward housewives). Except for the Snuggie. People in the 60s had style, even in they didn't always have central heating.

I listened to the NPR report on this, and I thought something was wrong with me because I didn't think anything of what Sherrod said or did. However, I knew something was up when someone described her actions as "reverse discrimination," which doesn't make sense on any level. Discrimination doesn't have a direction,

When you're a lesbian, most jobs are handjobs.

If Deadspin is our brother-in-law site, who did it marry to get into the family?
