For whatever reason that bar/row of pictures on my profile disappeared and does not come back up with recently tagged pictures. Has this happened to anyone else?

@ishred: I believe so.

I've used Amazon MP3 since it's inception. Great service, through a browser (faster than through the iTunes app), cheaper, and more conveinent overall. Of course, the 100% DRM free slogan is not AzMP3-only anymore, as iTunes is too, but Amazon is still top in my opinion.

@notexactly: I did too, that's why I began the post with "Not sure if y'all know about this at all" ;)

@Captain Fish, PhD (c): He hacked into Frucci's twitter following the password leak. He went on to talk about it here and was banned for his actions following this.

@Sithishade, M.D.: Ehh, he deserved it though. His actions were unnecessary.

I applaud this news.

Lots of interesting gifts over in #holidayswag. Check it out!

That picture is amazing....

Reppin' the Canon G-series, it looks like.

This is actually a really good idea. Good job, Apple.

Heard this on the news, but didn't pay any attention to it. Then I heard that the info was from Deadspin and it grabbed my attention - it seems like Gawker Network is finding/making/creating the news more and more than the big guys these days. A Giz/LH regular, I may/may not be approved here but still stand with you

Follow in the steps or us Americans? Well I never...

For $505,000, I'll take anyone's profile pic. I'd even take cash - it's just as good as money.

@sjr28: Since 3D is in the news a bit more now (more movies, more coverage here on Giz) they probably just wanted to repost it. It's not like the info is out of date or anything, and people probably want to know about this.

@ProudGeek: That's the feeling many of us have. I'm not for 3D mainly for that reason. Too much of a hassle with visitors.

Great writeup, Whitson! Right on with many of the points - I tend to see Commercial as superior to free despite my attraction to free. Some of the apps I like/use the most are commercial - Office '11, Pixelmator, ShoveBox, Writeroom, etc. (The last of 2 I got for free from MacHeist, but still.)

@loocas1: Yes, looks like it got hit with the Lifehacker Effect.
