Yeah it's clear that I'm in the minority on this. I'm really curious as to why, since I'm not particularly good at this series in the first place.

That's 3 people replying the same, so it's safe to assume I'm wrong. Not sure if my memory of the other games is clouded, or what. Maybe I just happened to be super focused after playing dark souls. I also just got to Sky Keep, so it's possible that the game ramps up significantly here.

But did you always know what to do? Maybe that's it, I remember having those eureka moments in previous titles when I realized what needed to be done, in dungeons or boss battles. The greatest challenge was always figuring that out, and the execution was secondary. In Skyward Sword I was not once even tempted to go

Did anybody else find that the motion controls made the game too easy? Let me rephrase that: the design of the game around motion controls made the game too easy. This was by far the simplest Zelda in my opinion, and there was never any fear of death or exploration.

No need for name calling. You just promoted trolling, which is actually worse than his comment.

Nothing is wrong with ads, especially on sites like this that require them for funding. However, in the case of the consoles, you're paying a large amount of money for the hardware, then (for any reasonable amount of online interaction) for an XBL Gold subscription. It's basically like buying your computer,

I wish this were the first Zelda I have played. I recognize that it is more polished and overall probably the best game in the series. Still, it feels like everything is easy, by the motions muscle memory. Probably because my mind was used to doing everything in the game before I even started. Nothing is really

Use Combustion, even if you don't normally use pyromancy. He is too difficult to target with physical weapons. He does a quick 2 swipe attack, then a leap that is too fast to counter. When he does his slow single swipe, block it then run under him and fire. Hopefully by the time you run out of casts, he'll be

I've been playing Nocturne off and on for about 3 years. I play for 30 hours at a time, get overwhelmed by how little I accomplished, and quit. It's a great game, I just can't force myself to spend that much time when there are so many games with faster payoffs. Play through all of Portal 2, or one Kalpa of the

I wish we could get stats from UK retailers as to the volume of this game exported overseas, and compare it to the domestic release sales. I imagine the most vocal group trying to get this game released stateside imported soon after NOA said they have no plans to publish it.

That's weird. The Sega CD Jurassic Park was by far my favorite of the console Jurassic Park games. I can still hear the songs in my head. It was one of the most unique games I had played at the time.

I want to see how many project rainfall supporters actually buy this domestically. From my perspective, anyone who was interested in this game before it's domestic release statement has already imported.

"They are just how they are." I think that's how I'll describe anime in general from now on. If I play a 30 hour game or watch a 24 episode series, I expect some kind of evolution and complexity over time, and not just in the token story struggle.

That's actually an interesting point, because maybe animation design also has something to do with the character realism I'm complaining about. It's true that Miyazaki rarely flounders in creating great characters. But even without his writing, Studio Ghibli is able to flesh out realistic relationships. Grave of

Two of my favorite things are anime and JRPGs. Yet for some reason, I usually hate every character in both. I think I've realized why.

The best one in recent memory for me. I usually slaughter the room before entering it so I can stare for a minute.

What I really like about this game is the way it mitigates puzzle difficulty and frustration.

It's not even the donny darko-esque look that gets me. It's that creepy teeth clicking sound that will haunt my dreams.

This is what rubbed me the wrong way with Final Fantasy XIII. There was a whole lot of great side content to do, but it only (really) opened up after the story was completed. What motivation do I have to do side missions, collect items, level characters, when the world has already been saved? With the final boss
