@Spaceboy: It's worth it, the prize is an En-V Concept LM Race Car. Customize your gear ratios to reach an incredible max speed of 4mph. Not usable on the En-V Special Event.

@dimsum: I never even thought of using Dropbox for personal finances. It isn't as automated, but I don't mind manual entry for the sake of added security. I'll check out Simplenote as well.

@Whitson Gordon: Thanks for that. I'm still wary of putting that much trust in anything over the Internet, but Intuit does have a sound track record. Sounds like it's worth a try.

Special Event: Nuremberg Ring

I like the idea of tracking my finances from any device, anywhere. At the same time, I do not like having my financial data and passwords to every banking and credit site accessible through somebody else's servers. Is there any risk to this? It sure seems like a large one.

Although I love the infinite portal loop, I wish every game on my shelf took advantage of minimalist art. I know it just sits there and rarely gets seen, but there's something so classy about mysterious and beautifully simple cover art.

Would this cause pop-in/out 3d effects as the unit shakes? If so, this may make me vomit on the train. Granted, that's where vomit feels the most at home, but I'm thinking about my pants here.

@Foohy: We all agree that piracy is wrong. The question of who is responsible is something we could argue all day.

I played Pictionary with the U Play Tablet on Wii last night for 4 hours with the family. That's something I never thought could be so fun. Although other games probably won't take advantage of the peripheral, it was probably worth it just for Pictionary.

@madammina: That some video game from Japan about a plumber jumping could possibly be fun.

@ShiryuGN: The argument is that it has nothing to do with IP. The technology of unlocking/jailbreaking, etc is not inherently illegal or unethical. For many, it's a means to get the most out of the hardware that they purchased. A custom firmware could mean the ability to play FLAC, OGG, Linux, custom game levels,

@DarksiderFactChecker: Depends. It's a voiced comic book that explains events surrounding the story. There are some admittedly fun minigames and puzzles to go along with it. If you're into dead space lore, it's worth it.

I was wondering why some spam was missing this morning.

@Kayjin: You know, I wasted a whole lot of time on the internet researching and watching prices (my time isn't worth very much), and I bet my average game purchase this year was around $7. When you wait for sales and can hold off on new releases, it's not really an expensive hobby.

@cushenstein: That's a good idea, but I took a more drastic approach over the holidays.

My 2011 resolution is to stop buying games from every single kmart/gamefly/steam/amazon sale, no matter how cheap.

@Whooped.D.Dew: I have no idea what you're getting at, to be honest. Do you generally find Youtube comments to be insightful? If people don't bother putting out some effort when they post, why should I bother reading it?

@floppy mcwiggle: I support your resolve to change, and also your incredible name.

@SeckzPanther: Install the YouTube Comment Snob addon for Firefox. You will be amazed (but not surprised) when almost every comment is removed. I set mine to remove comments with multiple spelling, grammar, or punctuation errors, and profanity. There are at best 2 comments left to read on YouTube... and they don't
