@GeneralError: You assume much. I hate Hollywood films in the same way. Sexy Halloween costumes make me rant every year. I don't discriminate. I hate all pointless pandering equally. This post was about the article and Japanese video games. I'm not even sure why I'm responding to this...

I'm one of those people that will never buy a digital copy if there is a physical version available. If Amazon UK doesn't ship it, here is another possible source:

@snoop_dizzle: I sure would love iTunes and iDevices to at least decode Flac, wav, etc, even if they don't sell it. Not that they could handle the increase in sound quality, but it would cut the size of my media collection in half. Making an mp3 copy of every Flac file is ridiculous just to put it on my iphone.

@NeoAkira: Because Gawker sells advertising space on their websites like lifehacker. I would be upset if I were paying for ad space on a website that recommended an ad block to it's readers. You're right though, Adblock is easily the greatest browser extension.

@judacris: judacris, no! You'll make God cry!

I'd like to read an article that explains to me the difference between 'fan service' and pandering when it comes to Japanese video games, as well as other media. I know it's a different culture, but it's still hard for me to grasp how anyone can enjoy that. Even if I enjoyed pixelated sex, it completely removes me

That was exactly the problem. Samus wasn't Samus. It was almost like a reboot for the franchise. I'm all for trying new directions (that's how Prime was born after all), but the lean towards accessibility and story in Other M alienated a lot of long time fans. The story, the character, the voice, the controls were

@Spykedude: To me, that would be awkward unless the rest of the voice cast were also hired for the film. Hearing Nolan's voice, then hearing a strange Sully/Elena/etc would be offputting. Honestly, I think they should go with whoever has the best audition. I would like it to be Fillion, but if North nailed it that

@chickdigger802: Agreed with all of the above. The majority of great free games are only free for a limited time from their $.99-2.99 range. Sites like openfeint and faad give the best deals for free gaming daily. Highborn, Fastar!, Finger Physics, Antrim Escape, Hoggy, Dark Nebula, etc.

"Can you have furn if you're upset?".

@Gambit09: Both names are written キャサリン, so there obviously is some link between the two girls. Whether it's an interesting one remains to be seen. I'd sure like to see some gameplay videos mixed in with the sexcentric advertising they've been pushing.

@madammina: Mirror's Edge. I adore it.

@ZFK: You may be able to finish it with a rental. Like samuriwereworlf said, you may want to start on Apocalyptic difficulty, since there's no reason to play through a second time.

@samuriwerewolf: That's true. Everything can be collected/accomplished in one playthrough. I can't complain too much, with it's current price and my limited time to replay anyway.

Having just finished Darksiders, I can say that it received far too little attention amidst the more major releases. Honestly, God of War kind of seems like Darksiders lite. Maybe that's just because I'm a huge puzzle fan. The Black Throne area offered some of the most enjoyable puzzles I've played in a while. On

@Taggart451: Probably down initially based on the fear of it possibly going down initially. Oh, investors...

@Dale Furutani: The frustrating part of Clock Tower was it's potential to be scary. The wonky controls and dialogue unfortunately removed me so far from the game that I could never be properly scared by it.

@cassiebearRAWR: That came out a while ago actually. I think they rebranded it as Mass Effect or something though.

Honestly, all I want is a nice long HD video out cable to go along with it. In the states, very few get to commute by public transportation, leaving only rare opportunities to actually use a handheld, like in the doctor's office. If I'm sitting on my couch in front of my tv, I'd sure like to play on that rather than
