The epiphany came before any city ordinance, and while I won’t get into details, I’ll just say that it was a deep disappointment. To recover from it, I’m focusing on fortifying my personal life and doing things that bring me genuine joy.

This is why I decided to sell some of my cars—they can get in the way of building

Wow there’s a lot to pick apart here.

I have a ‘62 and a ‘71 and have had them for 18 and 23 years respectively. These cars are very easy to work on, however they are also a completely different kind of ‘working on’ as compared to a standard front-engine RWD water-cooled body-on-frame type of vehicle. Driving 60 miles each way to the office was a 2 or 3 times a year event, and most of those I was able to be the designated car pool driver. So my driving has changed little due to Covid-19

Cheaper is not better. I have 9 cars and even I recognize that we should start pricing oil commensurate with its external cost to the world.

One is a waste of money, the other is a smokin’ hot deal!
